Mr. Morgan serves as the Director of Operations. Under his leadership, the team manages all security, facilities, acquisitions, HR, IT, budgeting, logistics, records management, and personnel responsibilities for the Commission. As the third task force or commission he has served on, he is well-versed in the requirements of standing up and shutting down government agencies. Previously Mr. Morgan served on the National Commission on the Future of the Army (NCFA) as the Acquisition and Security Program Manager. In addition to his contracting and security work, he also managed all operational aspects of the public hearings and meetings NCFA held. Before NCFA, Mr. Morgan served as the Deputy Director of Acquisitions at the Task Force for Business and Stability Operations (TFBSO), the Department of Defense economic development task force in Afghanistan. At TFBSO he regularly traveled to Afghanistan to oversee contracts and programs, train military and civilian personnel, and work closely with local civilian and governmental partners. Mr. Morgan has also worked as a program manager at various contracting companies and startups, most recently supporting the Army’s Office of Energy Initiatives and Air Force’s Office of Energy Assurance. Mr. Morgan is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Champlain College and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Advancing Technology.
